The MI(che)LLE List

Happy Weekend!
I’m looking forward to some warmer temps here, sleeping in, tackling a big stack of magazines, and laying in the sun..
xoxo, Michelle
I love, love, love a red carpet and the biggest one of all is Monday! Prep for the Met Gala by watching the 2016 doc The First Monday in May - and I’ll be on insta posting my faves as always…
New To Me: Habitually Chic was posting from Paris last week and toured Les Suites Cinebre - I was immediately intrigued and bookmarked it for the next time I’m headed that way…there are 2 suites you can book to stay in - the design is crazy stunning (exactly what I’d want my Parisian apt to look like), the amenities and neighborhood look so fun. Plus you can get fitted for a suit at their downstairs boutique.
Niche content that shouldn’t be niche:
Sir Lewis Hamilton will be co-hosting the Met Gala Monday but Sunday he’ll be racing in the Miami GP (seriously do you not watch Drive to Survive yet??) I’ve started having race parties for all the fans we’ve converted…I’m hoping for at least one Ferrari on the podium, Carlos to do well and maybe Max to win since it’s his first race as a new dad….awwww
My most worn items this spring so far:
1) The Reggie Trench over everything - I love how simple & chic it is and the perfect weight for spring
2) The Sofia Top in Tango Stripe - the perfect fit and drape - heaven!!
3) The Naomi Top - I don’t normally love a short sleeve but this one hits just right - we left it a little long so you can tuck it in without it popping out
4) I’m a die hard vintage jeans fan since the 90s but our I wear our Brooke jeans nonstop and they hold their own in my Levi’s & Lee collection- a classic 100% cotton denim in a timeless fit
Speaking of good denim…I rewatched Thelma & Louise this week with my daughter and was struck by how great the costume design is and the progression of their looks from the beginning to the end…especially when Thelma steals Brad Pitt’s denim shirt (also how relevant the film still feels)
I added these all to Substack if you prefer your newsletters there!
Our Online Sample Sale is going fast! The prices are nuts $40 - $60 - this weekend only!
